The following resources will help you get started with ODM...
![]() |
'Getting Started' section of the ODM HelpfileThe Helpfile contains a 'Getting Started' section, which acts as a useful introduction to ODM. It introduces the ODM interface, explains how to manage your ODM Database and Projects and outlines the use of Maps and Charts. Access the Helpfile in ODM by hitting the F1 key on your keyboard, or select Help > Contents from the menu bar. |
ODM Example Database
The Example Database contains a wealth of wells, data, maps and charts, which demonstrate some of the best of ODM's functionality. It is highly recommended that users - especially those new to ODM - download and explore the Example Database. All of the data, maps and charts are fully interactive, so if you see something you like you can easily investigate how it was created. |

ODM User Forum
The User Forum is available to all ODM users. Forum topics include: news and system announcements, feature requests, tips & tricks, case studies, workflow documents, report bugs and troubleshooting. The User Forum also has a 'What's new in ODM' section that introduces new functionality. Make sure you are logged in to access the full User Forum. |
ODM WorkflowsWe've created a series of ODM Workflows, which introduce new users to key functionality. The Workflows can be used as a guide to help you recreate some examples found in the ODM Example Database. Visit the Workflow section of the ODM User Forum. |
We have a dedicated ODM Support Team based in Banchory (near Aberdeen, Scotland), and representatives in our Senergy offices in London, Norway and Abu Dhabi, as well as in Beijing, China.
