We've made improvements to how some objects appear in Map and Chart Keys - including Bubbles, Polygons, Grids and Tadpoles (Structural Logs) - as outlined below.
If you're not familiar with Keys in ODM3, refer to: Make the most of Chart Keys.
Bubbles
Component Bubbles now name the parameter under investigation and the zone of interest (e.g. Interpreted Lithology within the Sognefjord Formation). The examples below shows component bubbles as they are plotted on the map (1) as totals, (2) as total percentage, and (3) in the Key.
| (1) | (2) | (3) |
Note that segments of component bubbles now begin at the upward vertical and are displayed in the same order for all wells, and that Key items are now in dictionary order (sorted by age, then abbreviation, then description).
Sub/supra crop plot bubbles now show you whether it’s a sub/supracrop, the name of the unit under investigation and lists the name and colour of each unit found.
Average value bubbles now name the unit under investigation, the specified colour and name of the chosen log.
Polygons
|
Users have control over which polygons are included in the Key Panel, just like you can with shape files/GIS layers already. Just tick 'Plot Key' in individual polygon properties. Where you have a polygon made up of more than one line (e.g. a fault polygon) choose either to plot an item in the Key Panel... Or in the polygon properties select ‘show extended info in key’ to name each line in the polygon in the Key Panel. |
Grids
Improved display of grids (surfaces) in Key Panel - now use a more intelligent choice of interval size, so that the key only shows only contour levels that appear in the map.
Structural logs - Tadpoles
Tadpole classifiers are now displayed in the Key Panel - example to be added
Stacked Curves
|
Key Panels now include items in Stacked Curves. This example shows two data panels on the same wellstick, both displaying stacked curve logs. The Key displays all items within the stacked curves, broken out by different data panels and named according to the Panel Caption.
