Whenever you're selecting a data type in ODM, you have to use the Data Selector - for example, when choosing what to display in a data panel on a wellstick. We've made some changes to this dialog to make it easier to use.

Different types of data are now split out into three different tabs: Discrete data, Curves and Composite.

data_selector_discrete.GIF

Discrete tab

Displays pick and interval data types, and reflects the database structure as set up in the Database Manager.

data_selector_curve.GIF

Curve tab

Displays wireline logs/curves, within their associated curve groups.

data_selector_composite.GIF

Composite tab

Allows you to select a composite log type, from: Structural log, Stacked curve log and Production Template.

Note that Production Templates are only available if you have access to the WSM (Production Data) Module.

Filter Display

You can filter the data that is displayed in each tab using the Well, Project and Database options.

  • Well - displays only the data types/curves in the selected well.
  • Project - displays all data types/curves in all wells in the active ODM project.
  • Database - displays all data types/curves in all wells in the ODM database.
