Enhancements to Reservoir Performance Module (RPM)
ODM version 3.7 contains a number of significant enhancements to ODM's highly successful Reservoir Performance Module.
The Reservoir Performance Module - a licensed module - provides tools for connecting to and synchronising with external data sources that contain well production data, which can be imported to the ODM interface and presented graphically for analysis.
Integration of RPM Data into Wellsticks
Depth-based RPM data can now be displayed within conventional ODM wellsticks. This has found many applications from tracking drilling progress through to visualising reservoir properties and telemetry.
Traditionally, because of the essentially free-form structure of RPM databases, this has been difficult to achieve. It is now a relatively simple task to integrate this type of information with the geological part of the database. When adding a new data item, select the ‘Production depth plot’ from the Composite options and specify the depth and value fields.
Return Restricted Number of Records from RPM Reports
In RPM reports, it is now possible to limit the number of records returned as results. This is useful if you want to restrict the data returned to, say, the last few days or the last values recorded.
For instance, to display the latest production figures on a map, limit the number of records to one. ODM will then display only latest data available.
Consistent Styles for RPM Templates
It is now possible to link RPM grahpics to the original template used when including the graphic in the chart.
By maintaining this link, the chart graphic is reconstructed from the latest template style whenever the chart is opened or refreshed. This makes it easier to maintain a consistent presentation style across an ODM project.
